Project Description

In 2021, this beautiful forest was purchased by us and will be transferred later to our foundation: PLANT-MY-TREE. Die Stiftung. Our foundation guarantees that the trees will never be subject to deforestation – even beyond the project duration. This beech forest is worth to be protected as it delivers a high biodiversity, providing home, shelter, and food for 92 bird species (including 2 Red List bird species) and 44 mammal species.

Stakeholders and local communities involved in the project

Our stakeholders are our lessees on the one hand. On the other hand, it’s the local community and companies that supported the funding. This project is being monitored by our staff as well as our forester on a regular basis.

Project Goals

PLANT-MY-TREE® acquires various natural areas such as forests, moors and meadows, mainly in Germany. The areas afforested by us and belonging to the foundation are developed into healthy mixed forests that are preserved indefinitely. In this way, we create, expand and protect vital habitats for plants, insects and animals for the nature of tomorrow. This particular project is designed to generate carbon removal enhancements that we offer to our stakeholders to lease.

Co-benefits

We will preserve and increase the biodiversity by installing nesting boxes and providing a home for bees and local mammals.
