Project Description
The forests of this ejido have been attacked by the bark beetle as a result of several years of drought. The ejidatarios have worked to clean up the forest, have carried out water and soil conservation work, and are now carrying out reforestation activities to recover the vegetation that has been lost.
Stakeholders and local communities involved in the project
This project has been supported by Onetreeplanted and the ejidatorios and inhabitants of the community have been very involved in the reforestation activities.
Project Goals
The objective of this project is to regenerate the forest that is degraded due to pest attacks and intensive cattle grazing.
