Project Description
Este lugar está ubicado en la zona occidental de microcuencas del estado de Querétaro. Es una zona semidesértica con problemas de deforestación a causa del ganado.
Stakeholders and local communities involved in the project
The idea is to involve the people of the community so that they can recover their ecosystems and do more controlled grazing of cattle. In this reforestation there was a lot of participation of volunteers from the city of Querétaro due to its proximity and the increasing interest of people to regenerate the ecosystems around them.
Project Goals
In this area, it is intended to reforest with native species such as mesquite and huizache to recover lost vegetation and prevent soil erosion, as well as increase water infiltration into the soil.
