Project Description
The Centre for Agroecology and Regenerative Enterprises is a technical competence and practical experience hub that specializes in agroecology, using permaculture design principles and regenerative enterprises development at individual and landscape levels, led by farmers and communities. Our mission is to promote regenerative farming practices that prioritize soil and ecosystem health through the basic principles of Earth Care, People Care, and fair share, woven into one fabric for regenerative futures.
We deploy a wide range of techniques and practices, including syntropic agroforestry, permaculture food forests, organic market gardening, vermiculture, aquaculture, rights-based social movement building, and community-led financial models and instruments. Our team is committed to creating closed-loop farming practices and a circular economic model that minimizes waste, maximizes efficiency, and promotes sustainable farming practices.
